Changes to the Syllabus

1) We've moved: we're now meeting at the Starbucks at the corner of El Camino Real and Ralston.

2) We've eliminated the following texts from the syllabus (in order to produce a more manageable reading list):

• Conrad's Heart of Darkness
• Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway
• Yeats' Selected Poetry
• Achebe's Things Fall Apart
• Braithwaite's Selected Poetry

3) For the next class, we're reading the first 100 pages of The Outcry. Anyone who doesn't have a copy of the text can download it from Project Gutenberg. (The first 100 pages basically takes you through the second book).
